"Nice Hat" is Barry's debut album, where he finally realized his lifelong dream of recording an album of original music. After a long hiatus from music, Barry was revitalized. There was lots to learn, but the end result was an album full of rock and roll and fun, a volume of "New Classic Rock."

Barry recorded his second album throughout 2021, branching into new styles, pushing boundaries and challenging old assumptions. Add some personal events and you have a roller coaster of sound and feeling. Jangling guitars, heartfelt singing, insightful songwriting, and more than a few personal revelations.

In Barry's third album, he sings songs of increasing depth and power, while adding to his skills as a recording engineer and producer. The songs run the gamut from the satire of the Steely-Dan tribute "Aluminum Stan" through hard rockers like "Weapons of War" and "Lonelytown" to the light and breezy "That's How It Goes (Blackcurrant Tea)."
